About

.
This site is currently a place I am using to learn about making websites, and a place keep a record of my research in the form of publications, presentations, and links to papers and websites that I have an interest in. Am interested in how the web can be used in the future for health research so thought I would create a website.

I am currently employed as a Health Economist at the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences in Vancouver Canada, and completing my PhD at the University of Sheffield UK under the supervision of Dr John Brazier and Dr Aki Tsuchiya.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and was then a research associate in the Operations Research department at the School of Health and Related Research at the University of Sheffield, UK. I then completed a MSc in Health Services Research and became a research fellow in the Health Economics and Decision Sciences group predominantly working on economic evaluations for projects informing the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). I moved to Vancouver in 2005 and began my Ph.D focusing on methods for valuing health outcomes.
